Classes will be online. The deadline to apply is when classes start on Friday, August 21 (but I would recommend applying ASAP.) With this scholarship students will take one career tech course and one academic course (English, Math, or Science) for free, both during the Fall semester.

Fall 2020 Update

I hope you all are enjoying your summer. These past few months have been challenging for everyone, but we continue to be grateful to have you as a partner of the college and as an advocate for our students.
As we prepare for the Fall Semester, I wanted to take a minute to update you on some important information:
  • Bevill State has transitioned to OneACCS (Banner) from MyBSCC as our students' information system. One of the biggest changes in the transition is that beginning with the Fall semester, students will use the new system for registration.
  • Due to the transition to OneACCS, we no longer offer any discounted classes.
  • Priority Online Registration for the Fall begins July 13th. Students with 45 or more semester hours can register July 13th; students with 30 or more semester hours can register July 14th; students with 15 or more semester hours can register July 15th, and all students can register July 16th.
  • Fall Semester Classes begin August 20th.
  • A new payment plan through OneACCS will take the place of NelNet. We will share additional information about the new plan as it becomes available.
  • Fall 2020 Career Technical Dual Enrollment Scholarship award letters will be emailed to the students the week of July 13th. As a reminder, the CTE scholarship award is only for two classes (continuing students as well as new students) in the Fall.
  • Beginning Fall 2020, the Career Technical Dual Enrollment Scholarship will be a yearly application and all students must reapply each Fall.
As always, please contact me if you have any questions or need more information about these updates.
I look forward to continuing our partnership to assist our students. I hope that we will be able to see each other face to face soon, but in the meantime, don't hesitate to contact me if I can assist you or your students in any way.
