Lena, The air is getting colder, the leaves are falling, and the holidays are right around the corner! But you're staying busy by making sure your students are prepared and ready for college! Your high school students may even look to you for guidance with their college search process. Well, let us help you help them! This ongoing monthly newsletter will provide you and your students with vital information about the college search process, financial aid, and events held on campus. McGill Scholarship Deadline! December 1st is fast approaching, and with that the deadline for students to apply to the Dan and Melanie McGill Scholarship. Established in 2018 with a gift from the estate of Dan and Elaine McGill, the McGill Scholarship Program offers the most prestigious awards available to incoming freshmen students who enroll at MC. Named for Dr. McGill and his daughter, the scholarship covers tuition and is renewable for up to four years of full-time study with an annual GPA of 3.25. Entering criteria required include a 3.8 high school GPA, a combined minimum 30+ ACT composite or a 1390+ SAT test score. Financial Aid Packages Our financial aid packages will begin to send to students who have applied early next month. If this includes your students, let them know and if it doesn't, tell them to apply to MC and to check out our available financial aid packages!
