Scholarship Opportunities

Please see opportunities below to verify criteria for scholarship eligibility.

1. TheDream.US:

TheDream.US is the nation's largest college access and success program for immigrant youth with DACA or TPS status, or that meet TheDream.US immigration eligibility criteria. It opened its new round of scholarship applications for the 2020-21 academic year on November 1, 2019. TheDream.US has provided more than 6,000 scholarships to students who are attending one of its more than 75 partner colleges and universities in 15 states and Washington, D.C.

The National Scholarship, an up-to-$33,000 scholarship for high school or first-time college students and community college graduates, closes February 27, 2020. The Opportunity Scholarship, an up-to-$80,000 scholarship for first-time college students, closes January 30, 2020.

 2. The Jackie Robinson Foundation:


No one succeeds in college alone. That's why The Jackie Robinson Foundation offers promising minority students not only a generous four-year grant to assist with the costs of attending college, but also a full support network of fellow scholars, alumni, and professional mentors to help them excel in school and beyond.

The deadline for applications is February 1, 2020, so encourage your eligible students to apply right away.



3. ALFA Foundation Scholarship

Award: $1,000 
Eligibility: Must be planning to attend or currently attending an Alabama university, college, or technical school and must be a member of the Alabama Farmers Federation
Deadline: November 15, 2019-January 31, 2020

4.City Property Management  HOA Service Scholarship:

City Property Management, a HOA Management Service in the Phoenix, AZ is pleased to offer the City Property Management HOA Service Scholarship.

The Scholarship is open nationwide to those who will be attending college during the fall semester of 2020. Special consideration will be given to an undergraduate who is interested in pursuing a career in HOA Management, but anyone meeting the requirements who can demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in the Real Estate field will be considered. This Award will be presented to current college students, but high school seniors who will be attending school in the fall semester of 2020 are also welcome to apply.

The award will be presented to a college student who is enrolled by the fall semester of 2020, but will not have graduated by fall semester of 2020 & is still attending courses at this time. This will be a one-time award.

The Scholarship will be judged primarily on merit and need. Academic achievements as well as any leadership experiences will be taken in to account.

Requirements:

Completed application must be submitted online by July 31, 2020. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Applicant must plan to attend college by fall semester 2020.
Must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0.
A transcript must be attached to application for consideration.
Applicant must submit an un-opened copy of official transcripts if selected as a finalist.
This scholarship is a one-time award worth $1,000 to be awarded the fall semester of 2020.
Although not required, applicants are encouraged to submit recommendation letters and/or resumes to substantiate their application.
Applicant will be required to demonstrate both their merit and their need for this scholarship
