Dear Lena, Thank you for promoting the Bezos Scholars Program to eligible students at your school. The upcoming holiday break is a key time for students to work on their application for the 2020 Bezos Scholars Program. We want to make sure you have everything you need to share this opportunity and support students in completing a strong, competitive application. This year-long leadership development program is open to high school juniors at Oak Grove High School – along with an educator they nominate. Below are some resources that support students, and the adults who are helping them, through the application process: Review eligibility, commitment, and selection process sections of the website Read 7 tips for submitting your Bezos Scholars Program Application Read and watch application advice from past Scholars Successful applicants demonstrate academic rigor, maturity, curiosity, and community leadership. Do you know a student that would be a great fit? Encourage them to apply! Applications are due January 31, 2020.
