Did You Know? Only 32% of college students will graduate college within 4 years. Another 30% will graduate within 5-6 years. The other 3rd will drop out. Scholarships of the Week Carson Scholars Fund Scholarship Award: $1,000 Eligibility:  Students must attend an accredited K-12 school in the United States. An interested student must be nominated by his/her school to be able to compete for a Carson Scholarship. It is up to a school how to determine its nominee. The minimum requirements are a 3.75 GPA and involvement in community service. Deadline: December 20, 2019 Administered by: The Carson Scholar Fund, Inc. Apply! The Linly Heflin Scholarship Award: Up to $7,000 per academic year. Eligibility:   A limited number of applicants who have both economic needs and proven academic records. Scholarships are restricted to Alabama women who are United States citizens attending four-year Alabama colleges or universities.
