Spring 2020 semester at JSU: We are continuing to award new student merit-based scholarships The deadline for students to complete competitive scholarship applications is February 1 st Gamecock Orientation registration will open on February 1 st We will be offering TWO Accepted Student Days and Spring Preview Days

The University of South Alabama is excited to announce we are extending the scholarship priority deadline to February 1, 2020. All high school seniors who have been admitted as a first-time freshman for fall 2020 and meet the USA Freshman Admission Scholarship program requirements by the priority deadline, will be reviewed for scholarship consideration as long as funds are available. All qualified students will be notified of their awards through mail and their JagMail account. Test scores and high school transcripts must be on file with USA. Please have your students submit any scores or transcripts which may not be on file with the Admissions Office as soon as possible.
