In order to support rising Seniors, a group of universities have come together to form a college panel for the month of April. They will be hosting “virtual” college panels for prospective students and their parents. While this panel will mainly target questions and concerns that juniors and their parents share, Seniors (or other underclassmen) and their parents are welcome to join.
These “virtual” college panels will take place over Zoom. Zoom is free for participants to use. In order to protect the privacy of students and their families, all guests will have their microphones and cameras set to be off. The college representatives will have their microphones and cameras on. The hope is to address overarching themes such as preparing for college, choosing a major, visiting campuses, scholarships, and much more. Zoom has a chat feature that will allow students and their parents to ask the panel questions.
